Q How much Physical Activity should I do to start my health and wellness journey ?

A Well it is recommend that an adult do 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity over week , this equates to doing 30 minutes a day .

But also adults want to do at least two sessions of body weight or weight lifting . This is to maintain muscular strength , tone but also build lean muscle mass .

Q Where should I start , what exercise should I take up ?

A Pick/choose activates that you like or enjoy and that would fit easily into your daily or weekly activists . If you liked racket sports as a child then why not get in touch with a local group or leisure centre and see if you can drop in on a session . Get in touch with the local football amateur league and get yourself on a team .

Open up Google and search local groups , running groups , walking groups , ramblers , mountain biking groups , if you belong to a gym check out their notice board for gym partners or other classes in the local area even fitness forums could be a good place to look . And most of all listen to the locals , word of mouth about groups / instructors trainers etc.
